Ventura County Soccer Referees Association
The Ventura Chapter of the Southern California Soccer Referees Association serves members and leagues in the Ventura and Santa Barbara areas. Its members officiate for the Coast Soccer League and the Tri Counties Men's League. We are always in need of seasoned referees. To learn how to become a USSF certified referee, click on the Certification Link.
If you know of someone who has refereed in the past and is still current but not active, please contact Joe Campisi at 805-491-0739.
The next meeting of the Association will be held soon at First American Title in Oxnard. For directions, click here. The monthly SCSRA-VC referee meeting includes a referee training item on the agenda. Agenda will include training, upcoming tournaments and association business. Every referee is required to have 6 hours of instruction during the year prior to recertification. Each meeting's instructional period counts as one hour of the required instruction. For this reason, your inability to attend a meeting should be made known to a board member.
Attention New Referees: We will be having a clinic to certify new referees on March 5 and 6, 2005. The clinic will be held both days at Camarillo High School. USSF membership is $25 for one year and the fee for instruction is $10. Please bring a check with you. To reserve your seat, contact Jeff Plunkett at jeffplunkett@adelphia.net or call 805-987-4743.
