11/3/04 Minutes of the B.O.D. meeting

Present, Luis Gutierrez, Bruce Russell, Maggie Sailing, Ron Schmidt, Joe

Campisi.

Called to order at 7:15pm by President Mr. Gutierrez.

BOD discussed issue on Ryan Rigsby's suspension from CSL and the dynamics of

what could happened to him if this is accelerated by CSL with CYSA-S.

BOD discussed issues gong on with our members and teams within CSL and the

correspondence going on between them and the proper channels for such

correspondence and the timely manner in which these issues need to be

addressed through Mike Benjamin in CSL. Also we discussed that we need to

hold down the number of responses being made to help eliminate unnecessary

comments.

Maggie made the following motion: "That the BOD direct Mr.. Campisi NOT to

respond directly to our customer for any issues, except for those dealing

with assignments and game coverage."

Seconded by Bruce and motion carried unanimously.

Ron S. made the following motion: Anyone who receives a request for a

response from our customers, forward such request to the entire BOD and the

President, or Secretary shall be the only two BOD members to respond to such

request, at the designation of the President. Motion was seconded by Maggie

and the motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Gutierrez requested that any BOD who will be out of town, notify the

rest of the board of such absences by email.

Mr. Campisi passed out a list of concerns to all BOD members present of

concerns he has for the board to review and have discussion. The BOD

discussed some of these items in length concerning some of the items on the

list, specifically number 4, and 5.

Mr. Gutierrez requested that the Secretary send an official letter to the

CSL, requesting that ALL games U10 and U11 get assigned one official, to

help alleviate the shortage of officials, and free them up for upper

division games, where they are needed more.

For the Secretary to send out an email to all members reminding them to

respond to game assignments within 48 hrs as the constitution requires us to

do. And for those members who have not been showing up for the last three

meetings to send an email with the training sessions.

Next monthly membership meeting Nov. 16 at 7:30pm

Dec 4, is the last CSL week-end of games

Ron S. made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:14pm, it was seconded by

Maggie and passed unanimously.
