Regular meetings are held on the third
Thursday of every month. Our Annual
General Meeting (AGM)l is held every February. Our calendar year starts runs from March 1st
through the end of February. All
meetings start promptly at 7:00PM and generally end by 9:00.
Most
monthly meetings now include a one hour training session. Instruction is given by very experienced
training staff provided by the Cal South Referee Committee. Each training session counts as one hour
towards your 5 hour minimum training mandated by USSF for recertification each
year. Attendance is taken at each
meeting and the attendance record is forwarded to Cal South where it is used to
determine eligibility for annual recertification or upgrades. Training may be optionally taken at any of
the referee associations throughout the Cal South area. Members are encouraged to attend all meetings
to keep up with association business and get the full benefit of the training
provided.
Meetings
are held at the Ventura
Adult Education Center at 5200 Valentine Road in the city of Ventura. Take
the 101 freeway to the Victoria Avenue exit. Go south one block to Valentine
Road (frontage road) and turn west. Continue 0.5 mile to Sperry Avenue, turn left,
and then right into the parking lot at the back of building. The training room
is at the center left of the back of the building.
